CLEVELAND, OH (October 1) – This week, Welke Customs Brokers USA, based in Tonawanda, NY announced that Donna Davisson, Associate Lecturer at Cleveland State University, has joined the company’s growing national team. Davisson will exclusively service the Northeast Ohio market.
“Over the past few years, the Cleveland market has been especially welcoming, and Welke USA’s growth in Northeast Ohio has blossomed to the point that we need someone on the ground, working with companies every day to serve their import needs,” said Damon Piatek, Welke Customs Brokers USA president & CEO and executive committee member of the Council of Smaller Enterprises (COSE). “We’re very pleased to have brought Donna on, as she has a wealth of knowledge in international trade, and a strong network throughout the region. Welke USA’s national expansion plans over the next five years rely heavily on continued growth in Northeast Ohio, and we’re excited to have Donna as our point person.”
An accomplished college lecturer of marketing and international business with over 10 years of experience in the university classroom, Davisson has vast experience in international trade through brokerage services and trade consulting. Prior to joining Welke USA, she served as executive director for NASBITE International, an international non-profit organization.
