AMHERST, NY (April 13) – Damon Piatek, President and CEO of Welke Customs Brokers USA, announced today that Welke USA has named Evans Bank its 2021 Vendor of the Year. Piatek joined Tony Gutowski, V.P., Senior Relationship Manager Commercial Banking and Vincent Cutrona, Senior V.P., Director Commercial Banking & Commercial Real Estate, for a photo shoot at Evans Bank’s Amherst headquarters on Friday, April 1, to present the award.
“As an entrepreneur who bootstrapped my company from the ground up, I know the importance of strong relationships, and finding good help along the way,” said Piatek. “We recognized long ago how critical it is for us to surround ourselves with vendors who not only can provide a product or service, but who will also take seriously their role as a part of our team. Welke USA has been awarding the Vendor of the Year award annually as an extra way to thank the companies they work with. Previous winners include Roanoke, Freed Maxick and Momentum Public Affairs.
